£22.69

It is an early-age hand feeding formula. It is indicated for hand rearing parrot chicks during the 2nd phase of the early-age period (from the 5th- 8th day of life until the moment when feathers begin to emerge). From that moment, it is recommended to use a follow-on formula. We recommend Psittacine Crop Milk during the first phase of the early-age period. It is indicated for a wide variety of species of the genera Psittacus, Ara, Amazona, Cacatua, Poicephalus, Psittacula, Aratinga, Platy-cercus… It can also be used for chicks that require a supplement to the diet they receive from their parents. It is also very effective to recover malnourished chicks. It contains a high proportion of dehydrated whole egg. It also contains papaya, which favours the digestive transit. From the first week of life, chicks should eat up to 6 times a day (this varies according to the species). Crop capacity indicate the amount to be fed at each feeding bout. Approximately it is be-tween 7 and 10 ml of formula per 100 g of body weight. The num-ber of feeding bouts decreases with age. Analytical constituents: Crude protein 24.0 %, Crude oils and fats 20.0 %.
