*CB Giant Atlas Moth Caterpillar

£23.99

These moths make great pets for invertebrate keepers, even children. Although not as easy as some of the other giant silkmoths, rearing the worlds largest moth is a fantastic experience. The adults do not feed and will only live for a few days. Each female will lay up to 200 eggs which hatch into white caterpilars covered in blunt spines. They grow to about 6cm long and feed on Privet Lilac. After about 4 weeks they will pupate and emerge 3-5 weeks later as the stunning moth.
